The Abantu Integrity Movement (AIM) is the name of the soon-to-be launched political party established with Bay businessman and anti-apartheid activist Mkhuseli “Khusta” Jack as its leader.
The Abantu Integrity Movement (AIM) will contest the 2021 local government elections.
What residents are saying:
Samora Odwa: What should people do when our city is collapsing in the hands of the ruling party and the opposition, I’m fully behind khusta Jack, he’s concerned resident of the bay, ANC was was umavuke ngceni
Mandla Tyala: There is nothing confusing when residents decide to form themselves into a Movement to fix what’s wrong in their Metro, which is corruption and maladministration. We live in a city where the Municipality can hardly fix potholes. What is confusing is those people who keep supporting the same corrupt leaders at every election and hoping that things will change. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That hardly sounds intelligent. Nobody told Ramaphosa to concentrate on his business when he returned to politics to be president of the ANC.
Claire El-Jabi Verdonk: I wonder if perhaps his (Khusta Jack) time in business has given him added perspective on what needs to happen to take this country forward. He left politics to build a future, but I wonder if he is worried that all he has built will evaporate if the current trends continue? Perhaps a former activist with his fresh business acumen is what we need in the Bay.
Wendy Robertson: He has my vote
Abongile Ka Ndukumbana: Was wondering what ever happened to Mkhuseli Jack’s political career cause prior 1994 he was a hot head political activist, post 1994 went into business like most ex activist, My question, is he still in touch with politics, and what does his party tends to do better than all these other break away parties?
