“Showing off is the fools idea of glory” ~ Bruce Lee
My old Granny used to say a similar thing; “The blade of grass that sticks up gets chopped!”
My late mate, Hilton Shorrock – the Yoga Warrior, used to say that he was not afraid of approaching death as he was a drop of water in the ocean – an intrinsic part of the natural world and going with the flow.
Our political landscape is littered with Entitled, NON empathetic ‘leaders’ who do not practise Servant Leadership by actually listening and finding (or trying to find) solutions to problems for their constituents.
We see them from a mile away – flashy cars, designer labels, perfect hair and teeth, entourage of note, bluster and pomp and ceremony.
Dinosaurs – your time has come to become the next round of carbon and fossils.
If you are in political office you would be well advised to take heed of this advice; “Become part of the wider community and listen to your constituents, guide them on the path of least resistance, practise being kind and empathetic, concentrate on the long term gains over short term gains.”
